Stock up and save. Buy a whole lamb from us. We will deliver it to the butcher and you determine how you would like it cut. We will bill you for the animal, based on $7.50 per pound hanging weight (organs and head removed). You will pay the butcher for his services.

When you order, you will be charged a $50 deposit. The remainder will be billed after the lamb is delivered to the butcher.

Actual take home weight varies by size of the animal and by cut selection.

You can expect that a whole lamb will take up 1-2cubic feet of freezer space.

Our Katahdin lambs are raised outside on pasture. Katahdin sheep are a small framed hair sheep that don't require sheering.

Our charges are $7.50/lb hanging weight a whole lamb. Our lambs hang at about 30-60 lbs. Hanging weight is the weight with skin and organs removed.

Basic processing is usually around $120. Sausage fabrication adds to the processing costs.

Take home depends on how you have it cut. We estimate 80-90% of hanging weight, depending on how many bone-in cuts vs boneless cuts you ask for. You can choose to save the bones and organs.

The meat from Katahdin sheep is very mild and does not have a gamey flavor like larger, conventional lambs. If you want to try some before committing to buy in bulk, we have a great selection of cuts.
