Job Opening-Marketing and Sales Assistant

Do you want to be involved in the local food movement?  Do you have a passion for healthy, flavorful food?  We are looking for someone who can help us as we expand our market for healthy, pastured meats.

About you:   Do you love to make healthy food for your family and friends?  Are you committed to improving the environment for future generations?  Can you share your excitement about food systems that improve our planet?  We are looking for someone to support our mission of building an ecosystem that feeds our community.


The job:   We are a small family farm looking to provide our healthy, pastured meats to more of our community.  Currently, we are serving our customers through farmers markets and local distribution networks.  We are looking for someone to work alongside us to expand our customer base and distribution network through implementation of additional sales and delivery channels. 


What you will do:  Help to implement additional drop points and delivery network.  Help to better utilize our existing software to increase distribution network.  Create marketing materials to promote our products for existing and future distribution networks.


The skills you need:   Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word and a design program like Publisher or Canva.  Excellent writing skills to create marketing materials.  Ability to communicate effectively through email, text, and one on one conversations.


This position is part time, but can grow as our operation expands.  We would love to talk to you about your thoughts about the local food movement and how you can help us reach our vision.
