The job: We are looking for someone to help manage our inventory, both through physical packing and counting and reconciliation and management in our online store. We also need someone with the skills to create product descriptions and marketing materials that reflect our commitment to providing healthy food to our community.
What you will do: Initially, you will be updating inventory on our online store based on sales and what we have in stock. You will update product descriptions in our online stores for consistency and content, as well as create marketing materials for our in-person markets and emails. We want to know what else you think you can do to help expand our operations. This position is flexible and we are always open to your ideas on how to reach more of our community.
The skills you need: Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word and a design program like Publisher or Canva. The ability to manage inventory in an existing online system from sales transactions in several online and in-person markets. Excellent writing skills to create marketing materials and product descriptions. Ability to communicate effectively through email and one on one conversations.
